International cultural conference in Copenhagen - International Outlook and Purpose Strategy

Challenge

Following the establishment in 2021 and consolidation in 2022, the focus in 2023 was to sharpen the conference’s content and direction.

The challenge was to address the role of culture in a changing society and to highlight relevance, technology, and social impact.

Solution

BARC developed and programmed Kulturkraft 2023 in collaboration with the Confederation of Danish Industry and Kulturmonitor.

The conference brought together international and Nordic profiles and focused on the role of culture in communities and social sustainability, digital transformation and new business models, artificial intelligence and the significance of technology, as well as ecosystems, diversity, and new economic conditions.

Keynotes and presentations included contributors from:

  • Natural History Museum (UK)

  • Contact Theatre (UK)

  • Southbank Centre (UK)

  • Serpentine Galleries (UK)

  • Horniman Museum (UK)

  • Preview Tools (UK)

  • MetamorPhonics (ISL)

  • Taylor Wessing (UK)

The conference set a clear direction for culture as an active societal force and created a platform for dialogue on how arts and culture can contribute to both business development and social impact.
