Challenge


H.C. Andersen’s House wanted to reach a younger, more creative audience while also communicating lesser-known aspects of Andersen’s life and work.


There was a need to take the story beyond the museum and into new contexts.

Solution


BARC developed a partnership between H.C. Andersen’s House and Panduro. The partnership was built around a narrative of H.C. Andersen as a creative maker, which was translated into tangible formats through the collaboration with Panduro.


Inspired by Andersen’s own creative practice, formats and products were developed that enabled new audiences to engage with his universe through their own creativity.


The partnership created a new gateway to H.C. Andersen and brought the story to a broader audience.
