Partnerships on Inernation

Challenge

The cultural sector is increasingly demanding concrete tools for self-generated revenue, relevance, and hospitality - alongside a need for stronger international perspectives and networks.

For Kulturkraft and BARC, the challenge was to strengthen the international outlook and complement existing member offerings with access to new knowledge and practices from leading cultural organisations.

Solution

BARC established a partnership with the Association for Cultural Enterprises (AfCE) as a supplement to Kulturkraft’s vision of international outlook and BARC’s existing member offerings.

The collaboration was launched through dialogue and a Meet & Greet session at Kulturkraft26.

AfCE provides access to more than 350 members from the UK cultural sector and over 40 years of experience in meaningful revenue generation.

The partnership gives our members access to:

  • Four annual online conferences

  • Knowledge sharing through working groups and networks

  • Insights from some of the UK’s largest cultural institutions

At the same time, the collaboration functions as a platform for ongoing dialogue with Danish stakeholders, ensuring that content and formats are developed based on the needs of the sector.

The partnership thereby strengthens Kulturkraft as an international platform and expands BARC’s member offering with new insights, relationships, and learning spaces across borders.
