Partnerships and youth-involvement
Challenge
During the C40 Mayors Summit, Realdania wanted to give the children and young people an opportunity to be involved, seen and heard.
Solution
In a partnership with Bjarke Ingels Group, Danish Architecture Center, LEGO House and Microsoft, we invited children and young people to build sustainable prototypes together with their role models TrierGaming in DAC. A long online campaign period in own and shared media led up to a large, final event in Blox in Copenhagen. The project won a SPOT:ON Activiation Award as well as the Grand Prix 2020 - and was nominated for the European Sponsorship Awards 2020.
Jury says
"The activation has a complex and current theme as its center – but based on children's enjoyment of computer games, the message in the partnership is communicated in a fine and easily understandable manner in video and game content – at the same time as concrete integration of the brand's product. Despite a relatively modest budget, the partnership succeeded in getting a number of significant stakeholders involved in the activation, from a Danish world name as ambassador to YouTubers who reach the young target group. visibility, recruit and activate users - as well as fulfill concurrent B2B objectives."
